I can't even begin to share how amazing it has been to watch Grant become a Daddy! He was definitely meant to play this role. He is so in love with our little Sweet pea! He has really been busy this semester with his studies but he regularly takes study breaks to get some snuggles and check on us. It has been so wonderful to have this time at home to bond as a family. Grant has been of work since the week before Raegan was born.

Thanksgiving round 1 & Great Grandma Ercel's 90th B-day!

Our little family drove to Oskaloosa to celebrate Thanksgiving and Grandma Ercel's 90th birthday!

We are starting to really like to play with our toys. Especially anything that is musical!

I am just LOVING how awake Rae has been lately. She loves to look around and sit next to mama in her Bobbi! She also loves being in her swing and watching the birdies on the mobile move around and play music. She is so much like her daddy! We have found that music really calms her down! She has been laying in her crib and listening to mommy's playlist that she made for when she was in the hospital!

1st Halloween!

Happy 1st Halloween Little Miss Raegan! Daddy and I enjoyed taking you trick-or-treating with your cousins! You dressed up as a Ninja Turtle! Mommy and Nana found your outfit before you were even born and knew daddy would love it!

One Month Old!

Happy, Happy, Happy Fall!

We have been enjoying lots of walks this fall!

What a fun fall is has been! We had so much fun celebrating our Nephew Luke's Birthday at the pumpkin patch in Des Moines! This was the first time Grant and I have ever been to a pumpkin patch. We had lots of fun going on a hayride and celebrating Luke!

Raegan's Birth Story In Photos!

Raegan was brought into this world via an unplanned 

C-Section due to her head being turned to the side. 

I was so blessed to have my beautiful Mother and Sister by my side as I labored for around 24 hours!  It meant so much to me that they were there for us. I felt so much love around me and was taken care of so well! I am so thankful to have these two share with me their secrets to being amazing mothers! 

Grant was such an amazing Coach! He was at my side the entire time. Holding my hand, breathing with me and supporting me through those tough contractions. Just as amazing as he was with me during this process, he was more than that once Raegan arrived. Raegan had to have a few tests done after she was delivered and Grant was there by her side when I couldn't be. It is pretty amazing to here him talk about how much it meant to him that he could be there for our Baby Girl when she needed him. I was so out of it that first hour I couldn't think of much outside of how tired I was. After all of her tests were done Grant was the one that got to bring her in to meet me and I was so happy to have our little family complete! Grant is continuing to be the best Dad and Husband as he checks on us both throughout our nights and helps by taking Raegan in the mornings so I can sleep in! One thing he thought he would never do is change diapers. He has not complained once about doing this. I am so appreciative of how strong and patient he has been!
