20 week Ultrasound

Ultrasounds are so much fun! It was such a sweet memory to get to see our baby! 

She was moving so much it was difficult for the nurse to get a good 3D photo. That's why the pictures look really bumpy.

Week 20

We are so excited to announce that Baby Riedel is a Girl!!! She is growing so fast and now is the size of a banana! We are more than thrilled to meet our little girl in just a few more months! 

Week 19

This photo was taken the day before we found out Baby Riedel's gender. What an amazing week! 

Week 18

18 Weeks! Time is flying by! No big changes for me this week. I have been feeling really good outside of being tired and some swelling. Only two and a half more weeks until summer vacation... Yippie!! The kids at school have been so cute about my pregnancy. They are always asking questions about the baby. There are always one or two kindergartners who ask if the baby is still in my tummy almost every art class. They randomly come up to me and rub my belly and say hello to the baby. 

Baby has been moving a lot lately. Especially when I am sitting or laying down. It's so fun to have a friend with you everywhere you go ;) 

Week 17

Finishing up Week 17! Baby Riedel is the size of a Pear! 

Happy Mother's Day! I am so excited to be in the sorority of Motherhood! I had a wonderful day celebrating my very first Mother's Day! After church Grant took me out for breakfast. I spent part of the day getting ready for the Elma Highlight (Music and Art) Show at school. Then when I got home Grant and I had a Pizza Party that involved watching a movie, playing some retro games, listening to some records and dancing. As we were dancing we discussed how much fun it will be to have our little one dancing along with us! Baby has been moving quite a bit lately! 

Week 16

Our last day of the 16th week! This has been an interesting week. I have been experiencing a lot of new pregnancy symptoms. Grant had this weekend off and we got to go to the "World's Largest Garage Sale" in Waterloo with Nana, Aunt Ame, and cousins/soon to be best friends Luke and Adalyn! We found a few things for baby, a few maternity outfits for me and some games for Grant! 

The most exciting thing happening this week is that baby can now hear our voices!
