Our Third Anniversary!

It is so hard to believe that Grant and I have been married for three years now. I feel so blessed to have found and married my best friend! We had a very nice relaxing day together and then got dolled up for dinner at the 1910 Grille' in the Historic Park Inn in Mason City! What a cool place! We were so excited when we heard that there was a Frank Lloyd Wright Hotel nearby. The hotel was built in 1910 by the famous architect. The atmosphere was very nice and the food was delicious!

24 Weeks

24 Weeks! Baby is the size of an ear of corn! Perfect timing as mommy and daddy have been enjoying some Iowa Sweet Corn this summer! Baby is now 12.5 inches long and weighs 1.25 pounds. 

This week we have been spending some time clearing out and getting the nursery room ready for our little one to have her very first bedroom. We are only partially there but I am already feeling more and more prepared for her arrival. It had been so much fun planning what her room will look like. Mommy has been kicking into super healthy mode and eating as many fruits and veggies as she can. I have been feeling some spurts of exhaustion lately which makes me think our little girl must be having some growth spurts. 

23 Weeks

23 weeks! Baby Girl is the size of a grapefruit! I feel very pregnant! We celebrated Father's day on Sunday! Grant's very first Father's Day! He is going to be such a great Daddy!  We got to see both our Dads! We spent the day at the lake with my family and then Grant's parents meet us at our house in the evening! 

22 Weeks!

I'm a little late getting this picture on here. I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going. Our little girl will be here before we know it and we can hardly wait! She weighs one pound now and growing every minute. I am starting to feel the nesting urge and really want to get her Nursery set up. We are on the hunt for our crib, dresser/changing table and glider! I am having fun shopping around but I am really anxious to get her room done before I go back to school. 

21 Weeks

21 Weeks! What a week it was. I had my last day of school before summer! I will be changing teaching positions next year which means I will be going from having three art rooms to just one! Grant so graciously helped me move all of my stuff from the outlining centers to the building I will be in next year! I am so thankful for his help!

 I had some trouble with our camera this week so I had to wait for Grant to get home from work on Sunday before I could take my photo. Hence why I look a little more tired for this photo :) 

 I felt our little girl kick for the first time this week! It was late at night, we were laying in bed and I was holding Grant's hand over my tummy and slid my hand next to his when it happened! Unfortunately Grant has yet to feel her moving, he can't wait to feel her!
