4 Months Old!

Raegan is four months old! I feel like she has made so many new milestones this month! Yesterday I put away all of newborn clothes and a few 3 months outfits that no longer fit. :( She is growing so fast. Though I do shed some tears over how fast time is going, I can't stay sad for too long. Each day just keeps getting better and better. It is so rewarding to watch her grow, become more intrigued by her surroundings and learning how to do so many new things. I love, love her smiles and can't get enough of her amazing laughter!

I have made it one month of being a working mom. It is getting easier (snow days really help). However, it is still really hard to leave her every morning for school. I miss her like crazy each day…but I feel so thankful that she gets to stay at home with her daddy. He is doing such a great job!

Raegan is now really into her toys and loves to grab at things. She is so playful, loves to talk, rolled over for the first time Friday, and laughs those wonderful belly laughs (my favorite)!

Baby Baby Baby

Happy Birthday Grant!

Grant was snuggling with Raegan while I made him breakfast in bed! Can you spot her? We have a whole lot of patterns going on in that bed ;)

School was cancelled for me on his birthday so the 3 of us got to spend the whole day together! A very nice birthday surprise for Grant!

If you didn't already know, Grant is a huge ninja turtles fan. I have made his birthday cake in this pan for the past three years. Thought I might do something different this year but he insisted it stay the same.

Raegan helping daddy blow out his candles!

We had a great day celebrating a very special man in our lives!

3 Months Old!

Another Month has come and gone and Raegan keeps getting bigger!

I cannot even begin to express how  in love I am with this little girl. She absolutely makes me melt, and I/m so incredibly grateful of the honor of being her mama.

This was an a huge month for our little Raegan. We celebrated her First Christmas and New Years, and  we experienced the hardest thing we have had to do yet; I went back to work :( - I am not even going to begin to talk about that or I will start crying.

Raegan's talking up a storm, and is the happiest girl in the mornings. She sleeps until almost 8:30 on the dot every morning and greets you with beautiful smiles to make starting a new day so wonderful!

It is so much fun to watch her figure things out more and more. She's starting to grab at her toys and loves talking and telling us stories. She is obsessed with her hands and pulling things up to her face.

Her favorite things are Mom, Dad, her Bumbo chair, high chair and attention! She just loves to be held and talked to! I don't mind that at all :)

Raegan's First New Years

Happy New Year! I hope you all rang in the new year just the way you wanted. We spent ours at home  watching old movies (our new norm) in our comfy clothes. It was wonderful!

What a year 2013 was.  It will forever be one of my favorites, I am sure of it. I am so very grateful for all of the wonderful blessing God gave us this past year. It was definitely the best year EVER!

However, entering into 2014 I know it will be just as good if not better than 2013. I am beyond excited to experience it!

Here is a picture of our little New Years Baby

Raegan's 1st Christmas!

Almost every year my Dad's side of the family does a live Nativity. This Year we were asked to play the Holy Family!

Raegan's First time out in the snow and Grant & I's first time ice skating! Ice skating was pretty tough for me. Grant was a champ. He even wanted to try skating backwards ;) While we were skating I kept thinking about how much fun it will be when all three of us can go skating together. There were a few little girls at the skating park and they just looked so cute. I tried to imagine what Our Girl will look like  when she is skating along with us. So much fun!

 Soaking up all the attention!

We went to Candlelight Mass at our favorite Lutheran  church!  The one Grant grew up in, we got married in and Raegan will be baptized in next week! There is something about that church that makes us feel so connected to it. I wish it was closer so we could play a more active role in the church family there.

A lot has happened theses past couple of weeks. We celebrated our first Christmas with Raegan, which was so much fun! We traveled to Des Moines to Ottumwa to Ames and back to home again! Raegan got t o meet lots of family and friends for the first time.

We had a blast showing off our sweet little girl and getting to share our family traditions with her.
